What is the “must have seen” place for a Foodie in Miami?

My nice flight neighbour Cecilia, Julian (my favourite Miami person!) and my German food magazine “Der Feinschmecker” all had the same answer: No Miami food experience is complete without the visit to Joe’s Stone Crab!

We eventually found this wonderful place despite “Hertz Everlost” – thanks to Janet & Sandra.

Joe’s accepts no reservations and you may have to wait up to three hours for a table. Fortunately, we went at lunch time and directly got in.

We ordered the “Select” Stone Crabs with garlic-creamed spinach as a side dish. A great combination.

The plates of claws came pre-cracked, which made them much easier to eat. Well, I still decided to put on the bib that they gave us.

Of course we also had to try Joe’s “Key Lime Pie”:
